Alex Co-founded BRAUS Foundation in 2022, alongside BRAUS Group business partner and close friend Renato Dos Santos and his better half and wife, Lauren McGilp.  Born and raised in Bahia, Brazil, Alex’ upbringing saw a lot of exposure to the unfairness and inequality in life. Lessons his family intentionally imparted on him to educate him and ultimately inspire him to live a life more focused on others.  

In 2006, Alex’ journey of change begun, when he migrated to Australia.  He spent the next 8 years working in various white-collar roles, whilst he explored the meaning of his own life and how he could do and be more. 

He co-founded BRAUS Fight in 2014, a brand which he would later leverage awareness from for the greater good of changing lives.
