Water is Life

When we take a look at global poverty, one thing stands out. There’s one basic human need, that when met, sparks prosperity and productivity faster than any other single fix; access to clean safe water. Water changes everything.

AND RIGHT NOW, 785 MILLION PEOPLE ON OUR PLANET DON’T HAVE ACCESS TO CLEAN AND SAFE DRINKING WATER. THAT’S ONE IN TEN OF US.

With a mission to bring clean, safe drinking water to every single person on the planet, charity: water

The most innovative, game changer not-for-profits of our time, is tackling this global crisis head on. Their impact is significant and worldwide.

Working with local experts and community members globally, they find the best sustainable solution for every site, be it a well, a piped system, a BioSand Filter or a system for harvesting rainwater.  Their holistic approach also includes sanitation and hygiene training as well as establishing a local Water committee to help keep water flowing into the future.  They create long term solutions to a global crisis, one site at a time.

THE DECISION TO COLLABORATE WITH CHARITY: WATER WAS AN EASY ONE,
THE CHALLENGE WAS WHERE TO FOCUS FOR OUR FIRST PROJECT.

Nestled in the Himalayas between Tibet and India, lays the enchanting kingdom of Nepal. A country rich in culture and spectacular landscapes but whose complex terrain makes safe and clean drinking water difficult and dangerous to reach.

The project and our collaboration with

Charity: water is ongoing,
as is the worlds need for access

to clean and safe drinking water.

We chose our contribution to go towards this site at the foothills of the Himalayas for the construction of a well;

A SYSTEM WHICH WILL SUPPORT THIS RURAL NEPALESE COMMUNITY TO BOTH LIVE AND THRIVE.
